WARM AND SNUGGLE HOME BOOTS SEWING WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS
During cold winter mornings you would love to wear at home these ultra soft, warm, and snugly boots! Great choice to relax with hot cup of tea in front of TV, snuggled up in a blanket and these double-sided handmade home boots. Learn to sew and be rewarded! The most precious thing about these boots is the fact that they would be fully handmade by you! Also, what a wonderful and thoughtful gift it could be for someone you love and care about!

Studio Thimbles
what will you learn?
- Double sided and reversible with soft brown fleece fabric outside and even softer minky fabric inside.
- Different colour options of boots inside layer minky fabric to choose from. Colour options are: hot pink, royal blue, lemon beige, purple, red, pearl and mint.
- Personalised with embroidered initials (optional)
Fabric, threads, tools and sewing machines all provided for workshop! At the end of the class everyone will get beautiful pair of boots to take home and you will use them winter after winter.
This class is for beginners who loves sewing or wishes to learn.
Making Home Boots will be covering learn to sew including the following:
- Working with pattern
- Cutting fabric ready for sewing
- Learn to sew and setting up sewing machine for beginners
- Basic Sewing machine stitching
- Fabric pressing and steaming
Workshop includes all material needed to complete your boots. Which includes: variety of minky fabrics colours to choose from, brown fleece, wadding, threads. Sewing machines and all tools to use are also provided.

I did the T-Shirt Baby Workshop with absolutely zero sewing experience and came out of it with a cute T-shirt for my little baby, but most importantly, I now have the confidence to use a sewing machine (I have never used one before!). Olga was such a pleasant, patient and enthusiastic teacher and provided absolutely everything you needed. Location was easy to find and we were able to finish the workshop on time (2.5 hours) without feeling rushed. I was able to take a copy of the pattern away with me and I went and bought some more fabric straight after to continue making more!

I booked my niece into the tote bag class for her birthday present. She has never sewed before but Olga was the perfect patient encouraging teacher and my niece had the best time and absolutely loved the bag. When we were leaving my niece asked when can we go again! I must add that even though my niece was the only one booked at that time (we saw the students in the earlier class as they were leaving) Olga did not cancel the class and my niece was so lucky to get a one on one private lesson! We did not expect this and it really was going above and beyond. I can’t recommend Olga’s class highly enough. We will be back!

I couldn’t make the 5 week course so I booked a private lesson with Olga. She helped me conquer my fear of starting anything on my sewing machine. I learnt how to load the bobbin, thread my machine, and cut and sew a tote bag in a couple of hours. The lesson flew by, and Olga made it fun and easy. I’m really excited to see what I can make now!

I did the STL2 course with Olga and had a great time! I learned a lot of techniques that I struggled to teach myself at home, and also really enjoyed the social aspect of the class. Olga provides a warm and inviting environment to learn in, and her knowledge is exceptional! The classes are also offered at times that are outside of the normal scope which is great for people who can only learn outside of normal business hours! Highly recommend!

I am a Russian girl with an Aussie heart. I am so grateful to live in the most beautiful country in the world and have an opportunity to follow my sewing passion!
From a young age I was mesmerised by the ability to turn fabrics into unique garments, which often drew comment from admirers for their beauty and character. Below are some hard to find pictures of me in my “me made” garments when I was still studying at school.
You might find it hard to believe that I am a Process Engineer by my degree, but I am a seamstress in my heart! Sewing been my passion through all my life. I was dreaming about becoming a fashion designer.
