Beginner Sewing Workshops Perth
OUR VISION IS NOT ONLY TO TEACH SEWING, BUT TO STITCH UP A COMMUNITY OF SEW-FRIENDS WITH OUR BEGINNER SEWING WORKSHOPS.
I have a series of beginner sewing workshops for anyone that is a beginner in sewing (or have some sewing experience but need a refresh). Each workshop is from 2 to 4 hours long and promises to be a fun learning experience…that’s also good for the soul! Come along to my workshop and share in the company of other like minded people, as you discover and embrace your own creativity!

My 2 daughters had a school holiday session with Olga. She was amazing- they have come home with a beautiful skirt, scrunchies, and a ton more confidence about making something. The studio has so many machines, and they loved the day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The classes conducted were well organized. I attended the beginners course (with no sewing knowledge and experience)and my teacher was Daniela. She is approachable and willing to share her knowledge. Studio Thimbles is a great place to take the first step towards sewing, a life skill that is also very rewarding. ☺️

It’s great! Highly recommended for anyone interested in sewing. The classes are really well structured, so you’re not only learning new things, but also reinforcing your existing knowledge, and you end up with your own awesome creations at the end of it. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed completing the first level, and looking forward to the next one 🙂

Olga and Daniela are patient and knowledgeable sewing teachers to help first time sewers to gain confidence with a sewing machine. The classes are well planned and offered in small group sizes allowing one on one instruction and guidance. I learned so much from the beginner class, now I have 4 projects in fun fabric as well the basics to continue sewing.

I am a Russian girl with an Aussie heart. I am so grateful to live in the most beautiful country in the world and have an opportunity to follow my sewing passion!
From a young age I was mesmerised by the ability to turn fabrics into unique garments, which often drew comment from admirers for their beauty and character. Below are some hard to find pictures of me in my “me made” garments when I was still studying at school.
You might find it hard to believe that I am a Process Engineer by my degree, but I am a seamstress in my heart! Sewing been my passion through all my life. I was dreaming about becoming a fashion designer.
