We are going to make DIY pajamas – just like Peter Alexander style. They are beautiful, they are stylish, and super comfy.

Making your own stylish DIY Pajamas for you or your family!
There are some variations, you can make winter or summer versions (long or short sleeves, shorts or pants). You can make themed pajamas using specific theme fabric, like Christmas or Halloween or any other!
Plenty of new things, and small details to learn! Things like – collar with front facing, how to install piping trim, patch pockets with curved edges, buttonholes with buttons, sleeve bands, slash style pockets, and back yoke on pants. Very interesting project with many parts coming together!
For this DIY pajamas beginners sewing course we will be taking only 5 – 6 person per group, so everyone could learn in a small intimate space with personal attention to you.

what will you learn?
As we learn during our sewing for beginners course we will complete the following project:
- Pajamas
- Piping Trim
- Front Facing with Collar
- Button Holes & Buttons
- Sleeve Bands
- Stylish Slash Pockets
- Yokes
We continue working with garment patterns and building confidence in sewing terminology—all while making DIY pajamas for ourselves or loved ones. This project allows students to practice some basics and advanced techniques in a fun and practical way, creating comfy loungewear they’ll be proud to wear or gift.
For this sewing for beginners course we will be taking max 5-6 students per group, so you could learn in a friendly, nurturing space with personal attention to you.

I am a Russian girl with an Aussie heart. I am so grateful to live in the most beautiful country in the world and have an opportunity to follow my sewing passion!
From a young age I was mesmerised by the ability to turn fabrics into unique garments, which often drew comment from admirers for their beauty and character. Below are some hard to find pictures of me in my “me made” garments when I was still studying at school.
You might find it hard to believe that I am a Process Engineer by my degree, but I am a seamstress in my heart! Sewing been my passion through all my life. I was dreaming about becoming a fashion designer.
