DIY Hair Accessories Scrunchies & Headbands
Would it be nice to design your own hair accessories, matching to your everyday outfits! How cute these headbands and scrunchies are! Join us for couple of hours fun making your own hair accessories and learn some sewing skills. During this workshop we will make 1 scrunchie and 1 headband each. DIY scrunchies and headbands is such a good idea for that special handmade gift! Variety of different fabrics all provided; you don’t need to bring anything. It will be so much fun designing your own hair pieces, mixing, and matching different fabrics!
DIY SCRUNCHIES AND HEADBAND WORKSHOP INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS FOR YOU TO USE!
Workshop includes all material needed to complete your hair accessories. Which includes: variety of cotton fabrics in different colours to choose from for hairbands. Variety of cotton fabric for DIY scrunchies, elastic, threads. Sewing machines and all tools to use are also provided.

In our workshop, even if you’re a beginner, you’ll embark on a sewing journey that’s both educational and enjoyable. This class is designed for complete beginners with no prior sewing machine experience.
You’ll delve into:
- Using patterns to craft your own DIY drawstring backpack.
- Precision cutting and fabric preparation for sewing.
- Acquiring essential skills for elastic installation.
- Mastering fabric pressing and steaming techniques.
Our workshop includes all the essential materials, from a diverse range of cotton fabrics to colorful sewing threads. We provide sewing machines and all the necessary tools.

I did the T-Shirt Baby Workshop with absolutely zero sewing experience and came out of it with a cute T-shirt for my little baby, but most importantly, I now have the confidence to use a sewing machine (I have never used one before!). Olga was such a pleasant, patient and enthusiastic teacher and provided absolutely everything you needed. Location was easy to find and we were able to finish the workshop on time (2.5 hours) without feeling rushed. I was able to take a copy of the pattern away with me and I went and bought some more fabric straight after to continue making more!

I booked my niece into the tote bag class for her birthday present. She has never sewed before but Olga was the perfect patient encouraging teacher and my niece had the best time and absolutely loved the bag. When we were leaving my niece asked when can we go again! I must add that even though my niece was the only one booked at that time (we saw the students in the earlier class as they were leaving) Olga did not cancel the class and my niece was so lucky to get a one on one private lesson! We did not expect this and it really was going above and beyond. I can’t recommend Olga’s class highly enough. We will be back!

I couldn’t make the 5 week course so I booked a private lesson with Olga. She helped me conquer my fear of starting anything on my sewing machine. I learnt how to load the bobbin, thread my machine, and cut and sew a tote bag in a couple of hours. The lesson flew by, and Olga made it fun and easy. I’m really excited to see what I can make now!

I did the STL2 course with Olga and had a great time! I learned a lot of techniques that I struggled to teach myself at home, and also really enjoyed the social aspect of the class. Olga provides a warm and inviting environment to learn in, and her knowledge is exceptional! The classes are also offered at times that are outside of the normal scope which is great for people who can only learn outside of normal business hours! Highly recommend!

I am a Russian girl with an Aussie heart. I am so grateful to live in the most beautiful country in the world and have an opportunity to follow my sewing passion!
From a young age I was mesmerised by the ability to turn fabrics into unique garments, which often drew comment from admirers for their beauty and character. Below are some hard to find pictures of me in my “me made” garments when I was still studying at school.
You might find it hard to believe that I am a Process Engineer by my degree, but I am a seamstress in my heart! Sewing been my passion through all my life. I was dreaming about becoming a fashion designer.
